April 29, 2025
Cost: Free to CVMIC Members (not available to non-Members)
Description: Riding an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) or utility-terrain vehicle (UTV) can be very exciting, exhilarating, and useful, but in the hands of an untrained operator, an ATV/UTV can be very dangerous. The goals of this course are to reduce the potential for ATV/UTV accidents, injuries, and fatalities; to reduce the potential for conflict between ATV/UTV riders, landowners, and other resource users; and to promote safe, responsible, and ethical use of ATV/UTV’s. After successful completion of the course exam, students will obtain their ATV/UTV safety certification.
NOTE: All Wisconsin recreational safety students are required to obtain a Wisconsin DNR Customer ID Number before the completion of any recreational safety class. Don’t have a Wisconsin DNR Customer ID Number? Go to https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/Education/OutdoorSkills/idcheck prior to the class to obtain this number.
