“So, what now?”: From employee to leader (Technical Leadership)
One of the most difficult transitions in anyone’s career is making the leap from an individual contributor (employee) to being responsible for the performance of others (supervisor). In addition to one’s own performance, supervisors are now responsible for the performance and administration of the people on their team. It takes the right tools to navigate this transition.
After attending this program participants will be able to:
-Identify the EAP resource and explore usage
-Understand Drug & Alcohol Policy responsibilities
-Practice the Supervisor’s role in discipline
-Manage conflict in the workplace
This program will help leaders learn the critical skills, tasks, and processes they will face every day while leading teams.
CVMIC will provide lunch and beverages as part of the training day.
