Description: Workplace issues, and investigations to understand and correct them, are an unfortunate reality for just about every employer. Conducting effective and thorough investigations is a critical task that may save employers expensive litigation. They are a necessary step in managing organizational performance and maintaining or restoring employee confidence in the organization during difficult times.
Join us as Brian Wolhaupter, the Human Resources Manager for the City of Middleton, leads a session tackling the difficult, uncomfortable, often unfamiliar steps organizational managers face in conducting workplace investigations. The session will focus on directly usable topics, techniques, and tools designed to guide and aid managers of all levels in workplace investigations. Brian will share not only best practices, but also personal experiences and perspectives from an extensive professional military, private sector, and public sector background where investigations have been a regular part of his duties.
Lunch will be provided.
