Cost:  Free to Members and Non-Members

Description:
There are several sections of the Wisconsin State Statute that discuss ethics and conduct expectations for public officials. In addition, most municipalities in the State of Wisconsin operate under Robert's Rules of Order. What do these rules say? What does Robert recommend? Let's find out together. This webinar will explore the regulations established by law and the guidelines for fair and open meetings. We will learn what is identified in state law, what Robert recommends, and where to find additional regulations specific to your municipality. Navigating the world of municipal government can be tricky, let's make sure you have a good foundation of the rules and guidelines at play.
